The key: My "five misunderstandings" approach.
While the fundamentals of effective public speaking remain the same, cultural expectations have shifted, and audience attention spans have shortened. Because of these changes, traditional sales talks and leadership speeches no longer resonate or engage as they used to.
As a speaker for the last three decades, I have personally experienced this change and with nearly a decade of experience coaching DisruptHR and TEDx speakers, I came to realize that there are five misunderstandings that get in the way of impactful talks or presentations that fit today's cultural and business expectations.
The model I created for overcoming these five misunderstandings has helped me train TEDx and DisruptHR speakers to shine on stage even when they only have minutes to speak.
Now I am applying my model to equip professionals for overcoming these five misunderstandings and reach real impact.
